Headmaster George answers your questions and tells us the massive difference a school has made to Simakakata.
How will the money be spent?

You fund the raw materials. The community build the school. The children get a brand new classroom.
Buying raw materials for Simakakata Community School
The money raised will be used to buy the raw materials needed to construct the final two classrooms and six teachers' houses at Simakakata Community School in Zambia.
The community contribution
To date, the community have made over 60,000 bricks by hand and donated their labour for free. They have built four new classrooms and are making more bricks for the remaining classrooms.
The community are happy to construct the remaining buildings, but they can't afford the raw materials such as cement, doors, windows and roofing sheets.
The money you raise will buy these raw materials.
We regularly share stories and photos from Simakakata and promise to show you how the money you raise is spent. You can click on the links below to learn about the progress to date.
