A few facts about the benefits of education
- In Zambia, AIDS spreads twice as fast among populations of uneducated girls.
- Each additional year of education increases an individual’s income by approximately 10%
- Stunted growth due to malnutrition in the under fives drops by up to 25% where mothers have had a primary education.
- Infant mortality rates can fall by over 50% where mothers have had a secondary education.
- In Mozabique, only 40% of children born to mothers with no formal education are vaccinated against TB, measles and polio. 100% of children born to mothers educated to secondary level in the same country are vaccinated.

In short education reduces the chance of HIV/AIDs, increase income and reduce child mortality. It’s the best way to break the cycle of poverty. Education is the best gift you can ever give. Please help.
