Washing cars

Students from Bucks New University washing cars to raise funds.

A couple of options here.

  1. Ask your neighbours or your parents if they’ll pay you to wash their car(s).

  2. Get a group of friends to commit 40 minutes of their time. Ask the owner of a local car park if you can wash cars there. Set up 40 minute shifts, and see how many cars you can wash.

If you get a lot of interest then feel free to go for a double lesson and up your car washing time to 80 minutes.

A couple of tips to you help promote your event

  • Here are some posters you can download to promote your event in advance.
  • If you are going for the group car wash option then try to sell tickets in advance. Some people might not even turn up, but you get their donation anyway. Result!
