Design Volunteers

One of the children your design skills will help.
LearnAsOne is a charity which funds schools in Africa. We have a number of specific projects that we need design help with. If any appeal please get in touch by emailing Steve at [email protected]. Please include a link to your portfolio and let us know which project interests you. Thank you!
T-shirts
If we are honest our logo doesn’t look the best on a t-shirt. We are looking for some ideas for designs which we/you would be happy to be seen out and about in. Something that could be worn at a photo shoot or in the pub. And we need a specific fundraising t-shirt which features an sms short code for donations.
We’re looking for a variety of ideas from numerous designers so we can introduce new t-shirts over time.
We now have designers helping us with all the projects listed below. Thank you!
BakeAsOne
Another fundraising idea. Here we are asking people to bake cakes and sell them at work, school or a summer fete to raise money for schools in Africa. Again we need a logo, Facebook image, plus posters/flyers to recruit bakers.
Edit: Steph Adams from www.stephadamscreative.com is helping with this campaign. Thanks!
Fundraising Totaliser
It costs £5,200 to fund a classroom in Zambia. We need an A3 totaliser poster designed which can be used in schools, workplaces, universities etc. to show people what they are fundraising for and how close they are to the target.
Edit: Pearce O’Halloran from www.beantheredonethat.co.uk is helping with the totaliser. Thank you!
BuskAsOne
A simple idea where we ask musicians to busk for a day to raise money for LearnAsOne. We need a logo, image for a Facebook group, t-shirt design, an A3 poster to explain why the busk is taking place (for use on busk day) and a recruitment postcard.
Edit: Adrian Riley from www.electricangel.co.uk has kindly offered to help with BuskAsOne. Thank you!
Banners
We want to create a range of banners that explain what LearnAsOne do, which people can add to their website or blog. The key objective is to create brand awarness rather than generate click throughs.
Edit: Steph Adams from www.stephadamscreative.com and Mike Bolingbroke from www.publicdesigners.com are helping to create banner ideas for us. Thanks!
To apply please email Steve at [email protected]. Please include a link to your portfolio and let us know which project interests you. Thank you!
