Will you walk 14km so Saviour and her friends can go to school?
Meet Saviour. She is a 8-years-old Zambian orphan. Everyday she walks 14km to attend school. She is happy, but there is a problem. Her school is a borrowed farmhouse and the owner needs it back.
Our response is WalkAsOne. A series of volunteer-led 14km sponsored walks to fund a new school. There are 2 ways you can get involved:
- Organise a walk with your friends, colleagues or classmates.
- Take part in the London Bridges Walk (a walk along the River Thames on Sat 5 June).
In September we’ll return to Zambia and post stories, photos and videos on our blog so you can see the money raised in action. We’ll also invite you to submit questions for Saviour and the rest of the community.
